David Studied medicine in UCD, graduating in 2010. He spent several years working in paediatrics and completed and MD in paediatric endocrinology in 2018. He completed the RCSI General Practice training scheme in 2022. He has done postgraduate courses in dermatology, musculoskeletal medicine, palliative care and clinical education. He has memberships of the Irish College of General Practitioners, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Paediatrics) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK.
